INCIDIN Bangladesh initiated a New Partnerships with the Private Sector to Promote Social Responsibility and Build a Better Future for the street-connected Children.
On 4 August 2026, INCIDIN Bangladesh, under its JTIP Project, successfully organized a significant discussion meeting on “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Child Sponsorship.”
The event brought together representatives from leading banks, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, the ready-made garments (RMG) sector, international development organizations, and national charitable organizations. Notable participating organizations included bKash, Bank Asia, International Finance Corporation (IFC), United Group, Akij Venture, Bdjobs, Resource Link, Antik, Mithela Group, Lions Club, Orbitex Knitwear, Pretty Group, and the Sponsorship Department of Save the Children.
The event was also attended by the Programme Manager and Bangladesh Programme Lead of The Freedom Fund, a development partner of INCIDIN Bangladesh.
The discussion was chaired by Tofazzal Hossain, Chairman of INCIDIN Bangladesh.
During the meeting, representatives of the participating organizations gained a comprehensive understanding of INCIDIN Bangladesh’s child-focused initiatives and shared valuable insights and recommendations for developing an effective and sustainable Child Sponsorship Initiative. They also expressed their strong commitment to future collaboration and partnership in promoting the education, protection, development, and overall well-being of disadvantaged children.
Building a safe, dignified, and opportunity-filled future for street-connected children requires coordinated efforts among the government, development partners, and the private sector. With this vision, INCIDIN Bangladesh remains committed to expanding strategic partnerships to create sustainable and lasting change.
